This shampoo, which can actually decrease the frequency you need to wash your hair (we’ll come on to that in a moment), has been specifically designed to soothe and calm sensitive itchy scalps and subsequently stops dandruff from forming in its tracks. A revolutionary, sulfate-free, cream-textured shampoo, using 97 per cent ingredients of natural origin, it is ultra-gentle, suitable for all hair types and, here’s the crucial bit that might take a bit of getting used to, doesn’t foam! Because it doesn’t use the usual sulfates and soaps normally required to create a lather, it helps keep grease at bay for longer (sulfates strip oil from the scalp resulting in it coming back tenfold), thus you will notice, with frequent use, you won’t need to wash your hair so often. Infused with fermented rice water and the brand’s proprietary post-biotic complex to help support the scalp’s microbiome, its gentle cleansing base is made from coconut and fruit sugars and supplemented with lactic acid (the gentlest of all the AHA’s), prebiotics that are full of good bacteria, soothing mafura oil, physiological PH and antioxidant-rich tocopherol (vitamin E). Alternate with your current shampoo at first to let you hair get used to it and then you will notice, in time, that your hair needs washing less often.
